HIPPY Site Name: Easterseals Rio Grande Valley State: Texas Years with HIPPY: 7 years
I have happily been involved with HIPPY for seven years, starting as a home visitor and parent before advancing to program coordinator. My passion for early childhood education led me to pursue roles such as coaching cheer and dance, and working in elementary school classrooms. Witnessing the positive impact of the HIPPY program on both of my daughters, and on the families we serve has reinforced my commitment to its mission. I believe in empowering parents and fostering a love for learning in children, ensuring they have the foundation for a bright future. I am excited to contribute to the ongoing success of families in my new position with HIPPY US.
Diana Adams
HIPPY Site Name: Calvert County Public Schools HIPPY State: Maryland Years with HIPPY: 21 years
My HIPPY journey began as a parent. “I knew I wanted my younger children to be ready for school when I found HIPPY.” These early HIPPY experiences helped shape me to be an advocate for my children and eventually, other families and their children. I have continued to work for families to be successful, lifelong learners. It is my goal to continue partnerships in Early Childhood in our community, share insights and play a pivotal role in helping parents/caregivers, and families to support and advocate for their child’s learning and development as they transition to new learning environments.
