Preservice Reimagining and LMS Pause

We’re excited to share that preservice training is being reimagined and will now be called HIPPY Model Onboarding. The updated onboarding experience will include three editions: Coordinator HIPPY Model Onboarding (still required for new Coordinators), Supervisor HIPPY Model Onboarding (still required for supervisors of Coordinators), and Home Visitor HIPPY Model Onboarding (optional for home visitors, though it may be required by local implementing agencies). This new structure is designed to better support each role and strengthen implementation across the HIPPY network. We will release more information on HIPPY Model Onboarding courses over the next few months.

As part of this transition, we are moving to a new Learning Management System (LMS). The current LMS is now closed to new registrants and will remain closed through the end of March while we prepare the new system. Registration will remain open during this time for the course, and participants may choose to pay at registration or delay payment until access to the new LMS is granted. We anticipate fully reopening training in the new LMS by early to mid-April.

Coordinator Preservice

We are excited to share that we are in the process of transferring our Coordinator Preservice to a new learning management system (LMS) while also reimagining the preservice experience to better support participants in the training. We anticipate completing the initial phase of this project, the LMS transfer, by the end of March. The updated new coordinator training will include a blended learning format consisting of self-paced modules in the LMS, live virtual workshops in Zoom, and in-person training sessions to provide both flexibility and hands-on support. In the meantime, we are still accepting registration for the new coordinator training and encourage anyone who needs to sign up to do so.

We enjoyed as a family working in some activities or even getting out of our comfort zone, with more outside activities.”
